Our member Jeremy Denton and his father Paul visited Ras Al Khaimah International Airport (RKT / OMRK) from Dubaï. The airport has a passenger terminal, a cargo terminal and an aircraft maintenance area. Currently, Ras Al Khaimah International Airport is being rebranded within efforts to attract legitimate cargo, in particular from establishments under the Ras Al Khaimah Free Trade Zone and also passengers traffics mostly charter services. This airport is good if you spend times in Dubai or around that you can managed to go to RKT for a half of day for a ramp tour.

Dubai International Airport – One of the world’s largest and fastest growing airport never comes to a rest. A mega hub which already now connects the entire globe with the UAE’s largest city! SHJ is not the biggest airport and the traffic is limited compared to the big brother Dubai, who is just a few of kilometres away. But there are a couple of unique airlines, especially cargo operators, who serve the airport and with only one active runway, its almost impossible to miss the flights.
