Richard Stretton

(born 1978)

About: Richard grew up with his dad taking him up to London Gatwick to watch the aircraft and spent many hours of his childhood sitting by the side of the runway or on the spectator’s terrace. Since then his interest in aviation has grown and he has a large collection of die-cast models, enjoys building model airports and discovering the history of aviation. In 2005 he moved to New Zealand which has limited his spotting opportunities, but he still gets to travel on business and holidays to airports in Australasia and the Pacific and always takes his camera along when he does.
