St. George Regional Airport (SGU/KSGU) is a small airfield in the city of St. George, the southernmost airfield in Utah just north off the border to Arizona. The airfield was opened in 2011 as the older airfield was too small for needed expansion – however, already in 2019 the airport was closed again for a while due to reconstruction works.
The airport is served by multiple US carriers like American, Delta or United connecting SGU to bigger hubs like Salt Lake City and Phoenix. Around 350.000 passengers pass thru the airport a year.
